About Martinique
Martinique at Abacoa is a Caribbean-style village of townhomes and single-family houses in the north-west part of Abacoa; MLS records split it into Martinique At Abacoa 1 and 2. DiVosta built most of the homes, with townhomes from about 2005 and single-family around 2006, and custom homes by builders including Frankel-Paone and Issa. Sources do not agree on the exact count of homes.
Townhomes are three-bedroom units in two- and three-story layouts, while the houses run three to five bedrooms. We found no condos here, despite older wording elsewhere. Note that this is not the Martinique in Coconut Creek.

What it’s like to live in Martinique
The village’s amenities center on a Village Green with a heated pool, cabana and playground, plus a Civic Center; listings add a clubhouse, fitness center, basketball court, tennis and trails. The east edge borders a nature preserve, and Roger Dean Stadium is described as a few minutes away, which means a short drive or bike ride rather than a verified walk.
