1133 Alt A1A, Jupiter — at the Alternate A1A bridge · Town of Jupiter
- Hand launch
- Free
- Corroborated across sources
The best all-round put-in inside town limits, and the one locals name first. From this one small beach you can turn east toward the lighthouse and the sandbar, north or south on the Intracoastal, or west into the river’s quiet backwaters — three completely different paddles.
Buyer’s angle
Puts the whole river system inside a fifteen-minute paddle without ever crossing the inlet. Anything within a mile of the Alt A1A bridge corridor is a legitimate “walk the kayak down” address.
