- Parking: the City meters parking downtown, at the beach and in parks, and lists enforcement 24/7. As of September 2026, the Bohemian Parking Garage downtown is listed at $2.50 an hour on levels 1 and 2, and beach lots have a 2:00–6:00 a.m. tow zone. Check current rates on the City's parking page.
- Events: street events can close downtown blocks. For the 2026 Street Painting Festival, the City closed Lake and Lucerne Avenues to vehicles for the weekend. Check the City's events calendar before you drive in.
