The best places to eat in Wellington, Florida depend on the occasion, and they are spread along Forest Hill Boulevard, Wellington Trace, State Road 7 and South Shore Boulevard, not packed into one downtown. For a nice dinner, start with Kaluz, Oli's Fashion Cuisine, A la Cruz (Alacruz Grill) for Argentine steak, DeVine Bistro or Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant. For casual, there is fresh pasta at Agliolio, wood-fired pizza at Sicilian Oven, burgers at Lindburgers, Greek at Spiro's Taverna and a sports bar at Flanigan's. For coffee and breakfast, try Carmela Coffee, First Watch, Keke's Breakfast Cafe or Taylor Made Cafe. For a drink with weekend live music, Kickback Neighborhood Tavern is the neighborhood tavern, and on Thursday evenings the Village's food truck and music night is the community hangout.

Wellington has no walkable downtown nightlife district, so the plan is simple: pick the corridor, then the place. The densest cluster is around the Mall at Wellington Green. Jump to dinner, casual, coffee and breakfast, drinks, international, equestrian season, food trucks or the cheat sheet.

Best Restaurants for a Nice Dinner

These are the sit-down options for an anniversary, a client dinner or a night when you want a table and a wine list.

Kaluz

Kaluz is a dinner restaurant by the mall. Its Wellington page lists separate lunch, dinner, wine and happy hour menus, with lunch on weekdays and the full dinner menu through the weekend. It has a patio.

• Cuisine and area: Contemporary American. Wellington Green Drive, by the mall.
• Best for: Sit-down dinner, patio.
• Good to know: Its reservation page says reservations are indoor only, parties of four or fewer book online, larger parties up to ten call, and the patio is first come, first served. Kaluz has waterfront locations elsewhere. We make no waterfront claim for Wellington.

Oli's Fashion Cuisine

Oli's describes itself as a fine dining restaurant and serves lunch and dinner daily, with a separate brunch menu. Its weekend hours start earlier than weekdays.

• Best for: Special occasions, weekend brunch.
• Good to know: Book through its reservations link or by phone. It shares a plaza address with Sicilian Oven.

The only Argentine asado restaurant on this list. Its site presents open-fire cooking as the point, with separate lunch (weekends) and dinner menus and a wine-dinner series.

• Best for: Steak, wine dinners, weekend lunch.
• Good to know: Its site takes reservations by phone or email rather than an online booking tool. Its lunch menu notes an automatic gratuity for large parties.

A bistro with a dinner menu of seafood, steak, pasta, chicken and pork, plus a nightly early happy hour listed on its site.

• Cuisine and area: American bistro. South State Road 7, Suite 300, in front of the mall.

• Good to know: The site lists dinner Tuesday through Saturday and closed Sunday and Monday. Reservations are by phone.

Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant

A winery restaurant on State Road 7 near the mall. Its Wellington page lists a Saturday and Sunday brunch.

Agliolio

Built around fresh semolina pasta, with a build-your-own pasta section and sauces, a wheat-free pasta option, wine, cocktails and desserts.

• Cuisine and area: Fresh pasta, Italian. West Forest Hill Boulevard at Wellington Trace, and South State Road 7.
• Best for: Pasta night, wine.
• Good to know: It has two Wellington locations, 12793 West Forest Hill Boulevard and 2803 South State Road 7, which we count as one recommendation. Pick whichever is nearer.

Sicilian Oven

A wood-fired pizza and Italian restaurant, part of a South Florida group, with an online waitlist and online ordering listed on its site.

• Cuisine and area: Wood-fired pizza, Italian. Forest Hill Boulevard.
• Best for: Pizza and a family-style meal.
• Good to know: Its Wellington page gives 10610 Forest Hill Boulevard.

Lindburgers

A burger restaurant whose Wellington page lists 50 gourmet burger selections, bar bites and a daily afternoon happy hour.

Spiro's Taverna

A Greek-American menu with gyros, platters, moussaka and meze, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is also the Greek option here.

• Good to know: Its Wellington address is 12020 South Shore Boulevard, #900. We did not find hours on its site.

Flanigan's

Flanigan's calls its restaurants family-run restaurants and sports bars and promotes its game-day happy hour. Its Wellington page lists outdoor seating and long hours every day.

• Cuisine and area: American, seafood, ribs. South State Road 7.
• Best for: Watching a game, late nights.
• Good to know: At 2335 South State Road 7, the same stretch of State Road 7 as DeVine Bistro and First Watch.

For coffee before a showing or a weekday breakfast, these four cover most of the Forest Hill Boulevard and State Road 7 side of town.

First Watch

Daytime-only breakfast, brunch and lunch.

• Good to know: It runs a waitlist by phone or online, which helps on weekends.

Opened in Wellington in 2024. Its menu lists coffee drinks, avocado toast, breakfast sandwiches, shakshuka and a bagel with lox.

• Best for: Coffee before a showing.
• Good to know: Menu items and prices can differ by location.

Taylor Made Cafe

A takeout-oriented cafe on South Shore Boulevard whose menus cover breakfast, lunch, veggie blends and protein shakes.

• Cuisine and area: Cafe, breakfast, lunch. South Shore Boulevard, Village Place, Suite 105.
• Best for: Quick breakfast or lunch.
• Good to know: Its site lists the address as 12160 South Shore Boulevard, between Forest Hill and Big Blue Trace. Call for the daily specials.

For a weekend brunch with a table, Oli's Fashion Cuisine and Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant list one, and A la Cruz (Alacruz Grill) serves weekend lunch. In season, the National Polo Center sells a ticketed Sunday brunch (see equestrian dining below).

Where to Grab Drinks and Hang Out

Wellington's hangouts are restaurants with real bars and a couple of community events, not a nightlife strip. Here is where people actually gather.

Kickback Neighborhood Tavern

A neighborhood tavern. Its site describes elevated comfort food, craft beer and hand-crafted cocktails, a full menu through the day, live music on weekends, and positions the tavern as a stop before shows at the amphitheater.

• Best for: Drinks, weekend live music.
• Good to know: At 12771 West Forest Hill Boulevard. A Wellington magazine feature describes a covered, dog-friendly patio. We did not find a current music calendar, so check the site for who is playing.

• Flanigan's promotes its game-day happy hour and has outdoor seating.
• Lindburgers lists a daily afternoon happy hour, and DeVine Bistro lists an early-evening one.
• Raja Indian Cuisine & Bar lists a patio bar and lounge with later hours.
• Thursday Nights at the amphitheater is the biggest weekly gathering of the week (see below).

Sushi and International Dining

Beyond Italian and American, Wellington has Asian, Indian and Greek restaurants worth knowing.

Lemongrass Asian Bistro

Its Wellington page lists nigiri, sashimi and signature rolls alongside Thai dishes such as pad Thai and curries and wok dishes. It is also in the mall directory.

• Cuisine and area: Sushi, Thai, pan-Asian. Forest Hill Boulevard, near the mall.
• Best for: Sushi, pad Thai, lunch.
• Good to know: At 10312 Forest Hill Boulevard.

Raja Indian Cuisine & Bar

Its site lists a daily lunch buffet, à la carte dinner and a patio bar and lounge with later hours.

• Cuisine and area: Indian. West Forest Hill Boulevard, Suite 20.
• Best for: Lunch buffet, patio bar.
• Good to know: At 12794 West Forest Hill Boulevard. Parts of its site still carry pre-opening copy, so call (561) 318-5383 to confirm current hours.

Dining During Equestrian Season

Event dining and everyday restaurants are different things, and the venues set their own rules.

• Wellington International says admission to its horse shows is free, with paid parking, and that free parking and a shuttle are offered at Equestrian Village for Saturday Night Lights. Its visitor page lists food vendors on site and says no outside food or drink is allowed. Its Gallery and Wellington Club are paid table reservations that include a buffet, and its International Club is a members-only pavilion, so none of those are open to a walk-in. For a sit-down meal, the visitor page points to Wellington's restaurants.
• National Polo Center sells tickets for box seats, tailgate tents and a Sunday brunch in the Pavilion. Brunch tables are bought online in full, and the FAQ says the venue is outdoors. See its site for the 2027 season, where tickets are due to go on sale in November.
• Seasonal demand. The Winter Equestrian Festival calendar runs in the winter (schedule), and show days can bring traffic and busier restaurants. We found no published data on restaurant prices or wait times in season, so we do not claim them. For a specific night, reserve a table where the restaurant takes reservations.

Food Trucks and Community Events

The Village's Thursday Nights in Wellington runs weekly at the Wellington Amphitheater, 12100 Forest Hill Boulevard, with food trucks and market vendors from 5 to 9 p.m. and live music starting at 6:30 p.m. A Village sponsorship page describes about 18 food trucks and more than 35 vendors and says the series runs year-round. The trucks change each week, and some Thursdays are special events. Check the events calendar for the band and the lineup, and the Village page for parking and weather notices.

The Village's Lakeside Market is a weekly Thursday market at the same amphitheater from September through May, per its sponsorship page, held alongside the food truck series. Dining Around Wellington Green

The densest cluster of named restaurants sits around the Mall at Wellington Green, where Forest Hill Boulevard meets State Road 7.

• State Road 7, south of Forest Hill: Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant, DeVine Bistro, Flanigan's, First Watch and the State Road 7 Agliolio.
• Forest Hill Boulevard, near the mall: Kaluz, Oli's Fashion Cuisine, Sicilian Oven, Keke's Breakfast Cafe, Carmela Coffee and Lemongrass Asian Bistro.
• Inside the mall: the mall directory lists its sit-down restaurants and food court, such as California Pizza Kitchen and Kelly's Cajun Grill. Tenants change, so use the directory for the current list.

Other corridors. Further west on Forest Hill Boulevard and on Wellington Trace you find Kickback Neighborhood Tavern, Raja Indian Cuisine & Bar, A la Cruz (Alacruz Grill), the Wellington Trace Agliolio and Lindburgers. South Shore Boulevard, which leads toward Equestrian Village, has Spiro's Taverna and Taylor Made Cafe. All of these addresses are listed under Wellington. We did not map each parcel to the Village boundary, so use the Village's map to confirm if it matters to you.

How Wellington Dining Differs from Downtown West Palm Beach

Downtown West Palm Beach has a walkable restaurant district, and Clematis Street is a Great Street in the American Planning Association's program. Wellington's restaurants sit in shopping plazas along main roads, with the amphitheater as the weekly gathering place, and most trips are by car. Neither is better.
